Built for Two Different O-Ring Sizes on One Part
This ASP-1 configuration installs O-rings on both ends of a part, each end requiring a different size of the same ring. To handle this cleanly, AIS supplied two complete head assemblies each with its own mandrel. One set supports the wider-end geometry; the second is tuned for the narrower end.
Steel Stripper Jaws for Long-Run Reliability
This machine also features steel stripper jaws, chosen specifically by this customer for running high volumes or operations where operation attention may vary. Steel jaws increase durability, resist wear, and ensure consistent part release, protecting seal integrity across long cycles. Usually this style of stripper jaw is only used on our ARP line of retaining ring installation/assembly machines.
Validated Through Real-World Run-Off Footage
This longer version shows the ASP-1 installing both O-ring sizes across multiple parts in sequence. Both versions confirm correct placement, smooth release, and stable performance, proof AIS requires before shipment.
