The ASP-3 is the newest and largest bench-top external o-ring installation machine in the AIS semi-automated line. It handles external seals from 2.0" O.D. and up, the size range the ASP-1 and ASP-2 can't reach, and it does it consistently, every cycle, however your production environment is set up.
Run it operator-fed. Integrate it into your line. Have AIS build you a complete turnkey system around it. The machine supports all three.

The Problem It Solves
Large O-Ring Installation by Hand Is a Known Problem.
It's slow. It's inconsistent. And one bad installation on a high-value part is an expensive conversation nobody wants to have. The larger the seal, the worse all of this gets, and for a long time, there wasn't a semi-automated machine built to handle seals in this size range.
Now there is.
The ASP-3 brings the same installation consistency that the ASP-1 and ASP-2 deliver for smaller seals, applied to the larger applications those machines can't touch.

O-Ring O.D. Range: 2.0" and up No fixed upper limit. Practical ceiling depends on o-ring material. Contact AIS to qualify your application.
Cycle Rate: 10–12 per minute Appropriate for large seal installation. The relevant comparison is to hand installation, not to the ASP-1 or ASP-2.
Power & Pneumatics: Standard Same requirements as ASP-1 and ASP-2. No special infrastructure needed.
Seal Types: O-rings, quad rings, lip seals, cup seals, back-up rings Material matters, AIS qualifies each application.
Operation: Operator-fed bench-top or automated line integration

A Note on Cycle Rate
10–12 cycles per minute is the right number for large seal installation, the physics require it. The comparison that matters isn't ASP-3 versus ASP-1. It's ASP-3 versus hand installation on your highest-value parts. On that comparison, the ASP-3 wins on speed, wins on consistency, and eliminates the damage risk that comes with manually handling large seals. Every time.
