OPTIONS

1Left Hand Feed & Right hand Feed
AIS O-Ring installation machines can be configured for both left or right-handed operation.
2O-Ring Detection
This feature uses a sensor to detect whether an O-Ring is present and ready for installation.
3Low Bowl Level Sensor
This feature provides a sensor that illuminates a light indicating the feeder bowl is low of rings.
4PLC Expander
A PLC expansion module extends the capabilities of a PLC system to provide additional input and output (I/O) points, communication ports, memory, and other functionalities that might be needed for more complex and scalable automation processes.
5Bowl Cover
A hinged bowl cover protects the rings in the feeder bowl from dust and dirt.
6O.D. Lubrication
This feature lubricates the outer diameter of the ring as the machine presents it for installation enhancing the efficiency of the subsequent assembly process.
7Alcohol Lubrication
Isopropyl alcohol is frequently used in medical and clean room applications to meet the machine’s mandrel requirement when oil is not suitable. This option includes an added charge for non-corrosive plating to prevent this.
8Static Elimination Coating
A special coating applied to the feeder bowl, discharge chute, and magazine to facilitate the feeding of O-Rings made from materials prone to static and clumping.
9Ionizing Fan
An ionizing fan can be added to the machine to assist in reducing static and aiding in feeding rings.
10Work Stand
Steel fabricated work stand designed to accommodate 1 or 2 machines.
11Stainless Steel Feeder Bowls
For clean room applications cleanliness is key. This option changes out our standard aluminum feeder bowl for a stainless steel model.
12Stainless Steel Medical Package
Custom components of the machine, including the discharge chute, magazine, and internal parts, can be fabricated from stainless steel to meet the cleanliness standards required for medical applications.
13VPM
AIS's Variable Placement Module allows rings to be installed on fixtured parts even when the ring is not directly presented to the machine. The VPM offers flexibility in angles for ring installation, which enhances the integration of AIS's O-Ring installation machines into automation processes.
