ISP-1HD-AM
The ISP-1, rebuilt for lines that never stop.
ISP-1 Heavy Duty Automation Package
The ISP-1 is already the workhorse of high-speed internal seal installation. The ISP-1 HD-AM takes that platform and engineers it specifically for the demands of continuous-duty automated assembly, reinforced where it needs to be, standardized where your plant floor requires it, and open enough to drop into whatever line you're running.
This is not a cosmetic upgrade. Every component in the ISP-1 HD-AM is selected for sustained cycle loads: the frame, the actuators, the sensors, the controls. When your line doesn't stop, neither does this machine.

.239” to 1.000” O.D. Range | 20-30 Cycles per Minute | 2 sq ft Footprint
Allen-Bradley Controls Standard

The Problem It Solves
Automated assembly lines are not forgiving environments. A machine that performs well at operator pace, under intermittent loads, with someone nearby to notice when something's off, that's a different machine than one that needs to run unattended, at full cycle rate, for an entire shift. Or two.
The standard ISP-1 is built for production. The ISP-1 HD-AM is built for production that doesn't have a pause button.
If your application involves high-throughput automated assembly, automotive, hydraulic, fluid systems, industrial equipment, and seal installation is a step your line can't afford to have go down, that's the problem the ISP-1 HD-AM was engineered to solve.
Specifications
The ISP-1 HD-AM is configured to your application. These are the base specifications, contact AIS to discuss your specific seal size, production rate, and integration requirements.
Seal I.D. Range: .239” to 1.000” O.D. (6.07 mm to 25.40 mm) Same installation envelope as the ISP-1. The difference is what the machine is built to sustain, not what it can reach.
Cycle Rate: 20-30 per minute for 1 head assembly, 40-60 for 2-up option.
Frame: Reinforced heavy-duty construction Engineered for maximum rigidity and long-term dimensional stability under continuous-duty cycle loads.
Controls: Allen-Bradley standard. The control platform your plant already knows. Familiar interface, broad integration support, parts availability that doesn't require a phone call to find out.
Architecture: Modular. Fast configuration changes. Expandable. Serviceable without pulling the machine from the line longer than necessary.
Access: Open-access layout. Tooling changes, diagnostics, and routine maintenance don't require disassembly. Everything that needs to be reached, can be reached easily.
Integration: Drop-in ready. Engineered for installation within new or existing automated systems. Tell us what your line needs from our machine.
Power & Pneumatics: 120v | 65–90 psi air supply.
Footprint: 2sq feet or less.
Seal Types: O-rings, quad rings, lip seals, cup seals, back-up rings, and more.
Operation: Designed for guarded/interlocked automated work cells.

Where Does the ASP-1 HD-AM Fit?
The ISP-1 HD-AM is not a replacement for the standard ISP-1. It's the answer to a different question. If your production environment is operator-paced with intermittent cycles, the ISP-1 is your machine. If your environment is a continuous-duty automated line where downtime is a production event, that's where the ISP-1 HD-AM was designed to live.
How Do You Want to Run It?
Integrating into a new automated cell? Tell us your line specs and we'll build to them.
Retrofitting into an existing automated system? The ISP-1 HD-AM is engineered for drop-in installation. That's not marketing language, it's a design requirement.
Need AIS to build the full system around it? We do that too. Talk to us.

Configuration Options
The ISP-1 HD-AM supports the same options menu as the ISP-1 platform.
Configure your machine for your application, your production environment, and your industry requirements.
2-Up Configuration - Available with 2 head assemblies for DOUBLE the output speed!
O-Ring Detection - Verify seal presence before cycling to the next part.
Low Bowl Level Sensor - Alert when the feeder bowl needs reloading.
O.D. Lubrication - Automated OD lubrication applied at the machine.
Alcohol Lubrication - For applications requiring alcohol-based lubrication.
Static Elimination Coating - For static-sensitive seals and environments.
Ionizing Fan - Active static elimination for demanding environments.
Stainless / Medical Configuration - Clean room capable stainless steel build.
Variable Placement Module (VPM) - Precision placement on complex part geometries.
If Your Automated Line Needs Seal Installation That Keeps Up With It, We Should Talk.
